Golden Beach Jewelry with a New Zealand Soul: Paua Shell Tai

The Tai has something special: a triangular Paua shell pendant in rich green, blue, and purple hues on a gold-colored stainless steel chain. The triangle is one of the oldest shapes in jewelry design, and nature has cast it here in shell form.

The chain is 50 cm long, sitting lower than a classic choker and wonderfully suited for V-necks or casually open shirts. The Paua shell is a type of abalone found exclusively off the coasts of New Zealand. Each piece is a true natural one-of-a-kind.

Gold-colored stainless steel with a waterproof coating: no tarnishing, no rusting, even in saltwater. Handmade by us in Kiel. Repairable if needed.

All our jewelry is waterproof. You can wear our stainless steel necklaces and bracelets when showering, swimming, and in the sea, and water won't harm our silver earrings either.

Handmade in Germany

We craft each of our pieces of jewelry in our small studio in Kiel, and if you'd like to experience how it's done yourself, we offer jewelry workshops throughout Northern Germany.

Free Repair Service

Our jewelry is very repairable. In addition to the statutory warranty, we will cover any repair case within the first 12 months after your order, regardless of whose fault it is – we don't ask questions, we just fix it. You only pay for the return shipping.

We are Fynn & Felize, and that's it. Five years ago, we returned from a trip to New Zealand with a lot of inspiration and the desire to create jewelry with meaning. Since then, we've been making everything in Kiel.

The Paua shell is a sea snail from New Zealand and belongs to the abalone family. It is known for its exceptionally vibrant colors. No two shells are alike; each is a unique natural specimen. In New Zealand's Māori culture, Paua symbolizes protection and a connection to the sea. We source our shells sustainably and certified from New Zealand and transform the fragments into jewelry by hand. You can find more information here.
