The Kea is part of our silver collection: a handcrafted 925 sterling silver necklace with a colorful Paua shell pendant. For all who love the ocean as much as we do and want to wear it in real silver. The pendant shimmers in blue, purple, and green, just like the sea when the sun shines on it.
The Paua shell, also known as Abalone or Mother of Pearl, is found exclusively on the coasts of New Zealand. No two pieces look alike. Sterling silver develops its own character over time and can be polished.
Handmade in Kiel. 40 cm long, with extension option. Unique ocean jewelry that stands out from mass-produced goods. We repair and polish if necessary.

Handmade in Kiel
We craft each of our pieces of jewelry in our small studio in Kiel, and if you'd like to experience how it's done yourself, we offer jewelry workshops throughout Northern Germany.
Free Repair Service
Our jewelry is very repairable. In addition to the statutory warranty, we will cover any repair case within the first 12 months after your order, regardless of whose fault it is – we don't ask questions, we just fix it. You only pay for the return shipping.

Who is behind Salty Dreamers?
We are Fynn & Felize, that's it. In early 2021, we returned from a trip to New Zealand, full of inspiration and with the desire to create jewelry with meaning. Since then, we have been assembling our necklaces, bracelets, and earrings by hand in Kiel.

What exactly is the Paua shell?
The paua shell is a sea snail from New Zealand and belongs to the abalone family. It is known for its exceptionally vibrant colors. No shell is the same; each is a unique natural creation. In New Zealand’s Māori culture, the paua represents protection and a connection to the sea. We source our shells sustainably and with certification from New Zealand and handcraft the fragments into jewelry in Kiel. You can find out more here.
